Yes, of course! You can opt into our Rent Collection service at any point during a Rent Now tenancy.
Just head to your 'My Tenancy' page, select the tenancy you'd like to enable Rent Collection on and then click the green Enable Rent Collection button. We'll then let your tenants know and share the payment details they should use.
1.Choose the tenancy you want to enable it for under the 'My Tenancies' section on the left:
Scroll down and you’ll see information about our Rent Collection service.
2. Click ‘View Rent Collection Service’, then click ‘Enable Rent Collection’:
We’ll email your tenants with the updated payment details, and let you know when they make the first payment. You’ll get a record online, and by email, of all the payments your tenants make.
1. Please make sure that you check the bank details that we have on file are correct so that any payments from the tenants reach you promptly.
2. Please note that OpenRent will only help you collect rent due after the date Rent Collection was enabled. E.g. if you enable Rent Collection half way through month 2 of a tenancy we will help you collect the rent from month 3 onwards. We can not help recover arrears accrued before Rent Collection was enabled.
