To list on OpenRent, you either need to be the Landlord of the property or have the express permission of the Landlord to advertise their property using our site.
When you list a property that is not your own we will require the following in order to verify that you have permission to publish it:
1) Proof of Ownership of the property in the Landlord’s name in one of the following forms:
- Land Registry Title
- Insurance Certificate
- Signed Letter from Solicitor (Completion Letter / Confirming Ownership)
- Mortgage Letter
2) Proof of identification in the Landlord's name (e.g. a photo of a passport or driving license)
3) The express permission of the Landlord in writing that they accept that you are using our website to advertise their property.
It's worth asking the landlord for these documents as soon as you create a property advert. You can upload this straight to your advert (it will not be visible to the public).
