If you're missing emails from OpenRent they may have landed in your spam or junk folder. You can add our email domains to your safe senders list to make sure messages from us always reach your inbox.
Our sending domains are:
- openrent.co.uk
- user.openrent.com
Gmail
- Open Gmail on a desktop browser (filters can't be created in the mobile app).
- Click the search bar at the top of the page, then click the Show search options icon on the right-hand side of the search bar.
- In the From field, type @openrent.co.uk OR @user.openrent.com.
- Click Create filter (bottom right of the search options panel).
- Tick the box next to Never send it to Spam.
- Click Create filter to save.
If you have received an email in Spam then you can open the email, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and select Report not spam.
Outlook / Hotmail / Live
- Sign in to your account at outlook.live.com.
- Click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.
- Click View all Outlook settings at the bottom of the panel.
- Go to Mail → Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, click + Add.
- Enter openrent.co.uk and press Enter, then repeat for user.openrent.com.
- Click Save.
If you are using the Outlook desktop app then you can go to Home → Junk → Junk Email Options → Safe Senders tab → Add, then enter each domain.
If you have received the email in your Junk folder, just right-click the message, and select Junk > Not Junk or click It's not junk in the top menu.
Yahoo Mail
- Click the Gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner and select More Settings.
- Click Filters on the left menu.
- Click Add new filters.
- Name the filter (e.g., "Safe Senders").
- In the "From" field, set it to "contains" and enter openrent.co.uk and then repeat for user.openrent.com.
- Under "Choose a folder to move to," select Inbox.
- Click Save
If you have an OpenRent email in your Spam folder you can open it and click Not Spam at the top.
iCloud Mail
- Sign in to iCloud.com and open Mail.
- Click the Settings icon (⚙️) at the bottom-left of the screen and select Settings.
- Click Rules in the top menu, then click Add a Rule.
- Under If a message, select is from and enter openrent.co.uk.
- Under Then, select Move to Folder and choose Inbox.
- Click Done, then repeat for user.openrent.com.
If you are using an iPhone or iPad you can open an OpenRent email in your Mail app, tap the sender's name at the top, then tap Add to Contacts.
If the email has already gone to your Junk folder just open the email and click Not Junk or move the email to your Inbox.
