Yes, the council or another third party can pay some or all of the final balance payment on your behalf. Once the contract has been signed, you can find the payment details on your final balance page.
How does the third party make payment?
On the final balance page, select “Advanced Payment Options” and then “A Third Party Is Paying On My Behalf”
You will then be shown the details needed to make the payment, including the account number, sort code and payment reference. Simply send these details to the third party so they can make the payment directly to us on your behalf.
If they require an invoice before they can make the payment, you can download a copy from the same page.
