The main ways you can make the final balance payment are via a UK bank transfer, an international bank transfer, or using a UK debit card, on the final balance payment page.
If you are proceeding to create a Rent Now tenancy please ensure that the funds are paid using one of the payment methods outlined below.
You will be notified by email when we successfully receive the funds. If you make a partial payment, the final balance amount will also be updated on the payments page to show what is left to pay.
Press "View Application" next to the correct tenancy here and then select "Awaiting Full Deposit and Rent" once the contract has been signed by all parties to get to the right page, or use the link in the email you will have been sent, subject "Contract signed, full deposit now required".
On the final balance page, you'll see the options below.
1 - Paying by UK bank transfer
A) Using TrueLayer verification
The best way to pay is by using TrueLayer verification, which can be done by pressing "Pay by UK Bank Transfer" and then the green "Make Fast Payment Now" button. If you wish to make a payment smaller than the full final balance, you can simply edit the amount in the box above the green button.
You'll be guided to TrueLayer, where you can select your bank, and then progress to use your online banking to make the payment.
If your bank is not listed/supported or you have any issues, please go back and attempt to make the payment using the manual payment details method, outlined below.
B) Using the manual payment details
Press "Pay by UK Bank Transfer" and select "Manual Payment Options". The Payment details shown in this article are examples and funds should not be sent to them.
You will then be presented with the details to make the payment by adding a payee directly on your mobile banking app or in branch, including the Payee, account number, sort code, payment reference, and the payment amount. Again, if you are paying an amount smaller than the full final balance, just enter that amount when making the payment with your bank.
It's also worth noting that our banking provider is called Modulr (full name: Modulr FS Ltd) - some banks display this information against the sort code.
2 - Paying by International bank transfer
Select "Pay by International Bank Transfer (24 hour delay)", and then proceed to either:
A) Use Wise (recommended) by pressing the green "Make International Payment Via Wise" button
or
B) Press "I don't want to use Wise - Show IBAN/International bank details" underneath to be shown the manual payment details to make the international payment via another method.
The Payment details shown in this article are examples and funds should not be sent to them.
3 - Paying using a UK debit card
Press "Advanced Payment Options", select "Pay Outstanding Balance by UK Debit Card" and then press the green "Pay £XXX By Debit Card" button to proceed and enter your card details to make the payment.
Press "Pay Partial Amount by UK Debit Card" if you are paying a partial amount and then enter the amount before pressing to the green button to pay.
If you are having any trouble making the payment using the details above, please do contact us directly outlining exactly where in the above instructions you are encountering a problem so we can assist.
If you have paid these funds to the landlord directly, please direct them to this article.
