Your landlord is able to renew the tenancy from their account and make certain changes to the contract when doing so.
For example, they can:
- Add and remove tenants and guarantors
- Change the rental amount
- Specify how bills are paid
- Edit custom clauses
- Change the day on which rent is due (This does not effect the start-date of the renewed tenancy)
Therefore, if you are looking to make any of the above changes, you should contact the landlord to discuss this.

Requesting a change to the tenants/guarantors on the contract
If your tenancy is otherwise continuing but a tenant/guarantor is being replaced, someone new is moving in, or a tenant is moving out, you can use our feature to request that the landlord update the contract via a tenancy renewal directly from your tenancy page.
Click here to go to your tenancy page and then select "Request tenant swap/update and follow the steps to make the request. We will then contact the landlord and let them know exactly how they can make the update.
If you and your landlord would prefer not to renew the contract, you can read about the other ways in which you can make changes to your APT here.
